Been to 2,3 ,4,5,7 & 8. Broome's my favourite folowed by Byron Bay.

Simply love Broome for its remoteness. I suppose it depends on what exactly 'best' asctually means. To me - if looking to move its a mixuture of job opportunities, rates of pay and housing costs.. Boome has the waether so gets my vote along with the fishing (naturally) LOL!
And there's not cities in all of this!

merimbula and port fairy should be higher on the list, and where's emerald vic?

Merimbula is an inland (!) fishing port on the south of NSW near the Vic border. It is very pictersque

Esperance is rather nice, right next to Cape Le Grand, But my favourite is Wagga Wagga, just for the name, nothing else
