    Quick fix

To relieve your homesickness temporarily try reading a book about your home area. I'm from Cumbria and recently read 'Emily's Destiny' a romantic thriller set in the English Lake District. Brought back memories and made me feel all warm inside. I keep reading bits of it every time I feel down.

How does one get in with a new thread?
Received message thast I have not been here for a while. Well, after being called a little old lady (wanting to give a tea party) I thought i'd back off 'till I can show a glamorous picture of what I'm really like.
Anyway, the parties continue, so anyone who is in Las Vegas is invited for a New Years Day party

I miss my friends the most, i love England and miss it but i know it will always be there, England is not going to change much. You need to keep busy and make friends in Aus, sink yourself into the local community. Or win the lottery and flay back to the UK for Summer and then fly back to Aus for its summer.

Or do what I do and go back a couple of times a year ;-)
The winning numbers would be handy too!

I was so very homesick when i first moved, my phone bill was huge the first couple of months lol. I got through it by using skype and webcams so i could see my family. Writing letters also helps, and gifts from back home is nice to. You just have through yourself into life where you are, it helps if you have lots of friends around you!
