Thread: Last day of winter !

Oh yeah,, bring on the sun and heat,lol although according to the news we Queenslanders are in for a hotter and wetter than usual spring.

I honestly think i would die if i had to do an English winter again,lol, it gets cold enough here.

Snap.. been raining all day today.. the sprinkler ban is apparently supposed to stop tomorrow... Apparently an El Nino year for cyclones this year... I need an escape plan if they strike.. can I come and hide in your house Cal? LOL

I'll trade you some cold weather for the weather we're getting right now!
If I could do another 50 English winters, I'd never complain about the cold ever again.

I always liked going to Tenerife as a kid and a teen. I remember Peurto de la Cruz well, and Los Gigantes (before it got too touristy) as nice places to stay, and we had fun family times.
I went to Playa de las Americas with some friends when I was about 20 and had a crazy week there...

What's the Island like now, and whereabouts did you stay over there?

we spent the week in Costa adje, nicer than americas or cristos costas.
I am not glad to be back from the heat as I love it, but the beer gives me gip so wont be missed. Were thinking Arizona/Nevada/California next year......maybe.
