State Pension/Benefts when move to Oz.

My husband and myself are expecting to move to Oz mid 2011 on a CPV-143.

I am currently in receipt of a State Retirement pension while my husband is still working. know that I can transfer my pension to Oz but not receive the annual rise (:-(), but I will also lose out on my Disability Living Allowance to the tune of £300 per month.

This will be a bit of a blow. But I note that after validating the VISA we will have five years to move to Oz. That being the case, given that - despite the geography of where I am, might I not technically be considered still eligible for these benefits???

Just looking at anything available really because it is going to be tight for the first few years.

    Thanks

    T
