Call me a liar - I kill you!!Not really
I agree with the last paragraph though
Yet, in a recent interview with the BBC News Magazine, the radio DJ and ping-pong Pom himself, Jono Coleman, summed it up best for me. He posed the question that when you’re broke, hard up and cash strapped, where would you rather be? Sitting in a park in the rain in London or in a park in a sunny Sydney looking out at the ocean?
Although financially tougher, the latter option still seems infinitely better to me.
Absolutely. Thats a great point actually. I would much rather be poor in Oz than poor in the UK. The best things in life are free (and easier to access in Perth:)
Equally you could say it would be preferable sitting in a park in Stratford Upon Avon on a sunny day than in a park in flooded Brisbane. Those arguments are a bit hollow really.
I wouldn't want to be poor anywhere to be honest but I would probably rather be poor amongst our great friends in England.

Soon to be back in the undisputed NUMBER 1 country in the world.....ENGLAND.
We're not talkin about the weather Christopher we're talking about the finances. Keep on track please![]()
We have nowhere near as much cash here as we had back in the UK (probably could if i wanted to go back to work full time) , but i wouldnt change it for a thing though, moving here makes you realise you dont need to be rich to have a great life.

Remember the road to success is always under construction...
I think we're about the same financially but we seem to have more...weird that in this so called economic downturn....
I do agree that you don't have to be rich to have a great life, we have enjoyed a great life both here and in England and have never been close to being rich.
