Just wondering how things are back in Blighty? Where did you eventually settle?

We are only a fews away from moving back to the uk. Been very stressful organising a move back. Especially with the house sale.

Chris is too busy enjoying his new life in the UK lol.
So come on Aldo, where do you prefer Spain or the UK and more importantly where do the kids and wife prefer?

TBH if i could afford to send my kids to a private "International College" in Spain I think I would be there but the kids are doing very well here and love the school they attend. They miss having a pool and the local public pools are so H&S oriantated (do running, jumping, diving, ....) The misses is flying business wise here but misses the med weather (as do i). If I ever retire I will be in Spain deffo! But for now England is where we will stay

Do the kids miss Spain at all?

Apart from the pool I don't think so. They actually play outside here more believe it or not.

Our move back to blighty has been brought forward and we leave in 2 weeks. Our reasons for moving back are mainly family. I like Australia and will miss alot about it. Kids will miss their friends and certain aspects of OZ life. They have ozzie accents and are a little worried about fitting in back there. We have dual citiezenship so are lucky.
Have been searching different sites for info on what to do when we get back. Is there such a thread on here? Only been here 6 years and find it a bit strange that i feel nervous about returning.

Anyway, good luck to other returnee's

Have a great move back, there are quite a few on this site who have moved back home and I am sure will help answer any questions etc.

Maybe we need to create a thread on what to do when you get back.
