Thread: Advice needed! from anyone sponsored?

New to the site! I am a lovely lady in much need of some advice! I have a dad and a step mom in Canada, and would like to come out to join them to live permenately. I am their only child and their only relative.
Does anyone know if I can I be sponsored? the forms say 'No' to Adult children, but I saw a clause on the site about being the only relative left?
Has anyone come across this or can give me advice?

Hi Lauren - First of all welcome to B.A.
If you are the only relative your father has left in Canada or anywhere else then it should be straight forward Contact the Canadian High Commission in London by email or letter to confirm this and start the process. Good luck and keep us all posted with developments.
