Canada is a great place to live. BUT, the weather is much colder then Florida. Each province in Canada has its pros and cons. I work In British Columbia and Ontario so I travel back and forth. There are hundreds of websites that will provide you with information about immigrating to Canada. Make sure you use credited websites. For accurate information go to the Canadian Government website:

Actually it is not all cold over here compared to the UK.

The west Coast, Vancouver is the mildest climate of Canada and compares well to the UK - very similar. Mild winters and lovely hot long summer days (so it is actually better than the UK in that way).

The rest of Canada, interior and Northern territories, East Canada is all very extreme in weather, from +40 summers to -40 degree winters, something I could not tolerate myself hence I chose the west coast straight away. Commonly other Canadians also migrate to this part of Canada for that reason.

    Hope that helps.

You are best coming over for a holiday first too before making a big move like living here. I checked out Ontario, and Vancouver at another time and decided on Vancouver.
