    House hunting

With a months notice, we finally have a moving date. We are moving to Nova Scotia in two weeks (help!!) We already have our mortgage in place, my Husbands new company have offered to pay the rental on a property of our choice until we can find a place to buy, simple you'ld think.
Does anyone know of a rental property agent in or near Halifax? We have exhausted everything we can find on the web. With all the stress at the moment, I don't want to be homeless as well

    House hunting

Been there, done that, but, fingers crossed, we may have something sorted. It means a double move as the main house isn't available until 1st August but such a small price to pay.

When does the stress and sleepless nights end?????????

A realtor is definitely the way to go - when we moved to Canada 5 years ago the first person we met was a realtor. It works differently in Canada in that the buyer (or renter) also has an agent working just for them. Ours was amazing - she took us round the different neighbourhoods, tours of schools and sporting facilites, gave us great advice as to where to buy, what to pay etc. We were so impressed that I now work for her - and the best thing it doesn't cost the buyer anything - all the buyers fees come from the sale of the house.
