Thread: I need a shove in the right direction!!

Hi All

I'm very new to this website but had to register as I love reading the threads. Ok, the lowdown is I am a 27 year old woman who would love to move to Canada but I am unsure about what I need, and what to do first.

My boyfriend has a degree in product and transport design and I have worked for about 10 years in the beauty retail industry. I've just been offered a place on a BA Hons course in Salon Business Management which I will start soon.
I have tried to gain info from the CIC website and even attended a Canada Expo show but I still can't find the answers...Do we, or would we qualify with the skills and experience we already have. I'm just looking for definitive answers as there is a mine field of info which is very generic. Does anyone have any pointers?
