    Missing Brother

    Hi Sue,
Just checked Canada 411 -- the phone book , similar to Phone Book UK. There were no listings for either R Garner, or R Masters , for Halifax, Nova Scotia. This book only deals with land lines though, so if he uses a mobile only it would not show.
    Sorry, I tried
    Best of luck
    Liz

Saw an article in the Toronto Star yesterday, Sat. Sept.27, re. a woman living in BC who had been trying to find her father for 21 yrs. It tells of the many routes she tried and the frustrations she met on the way. It is the cover story of the 'Living " section, entitled 'Loss doesn't go away ', written by Barbara Turner Kinsella, who is married to W.P. Kinsella, the author, best known for the movie 'Field of Dreams '. I don't know whether the newspaper has an on line version of this but if you wish to try here is the email address :--- living@the star.ca

If not, I would be willing to send it to you airmail, if you had an address that did not divulge your exact location, perhaps c/o a local post office. You can't be too careful these days.
In any case keep us informed.

    Hi Sue,
Apparently the email of the article did not go through -- reason Bad destination host --- whatever that means.
Try the site I got it from http//www.parentcentral.ca/parent/article504627.
If this does not work let me know and I will mail it as promised earlier
    Liz
