I have just been introduced to a currently free service which allows you to watch bbc, itv, channel 4 and channel five on your pc anywhere in the world. A very easy to use service which can be found at www.iportal.me I understand that if you are a sky subscriber you will also be able to access that on this service soon too.
I hope this is of interest to you and happy viewing

Hmmmm. Will be interesting to see how much they charge when they start charging. Any more than 5 or so a month will be a rip off

      Psychic Paleo ??

Hi Paleo, have been in touch with iportal, apparently it will be 5pounds per month or 50 for the year, unlike adtelly which i checked out today, they now charge 60 a year.
Thanks for the advice anyway, much appreciated

Wink UK TV abroad on computer

I use Firefox with a free proxy. This "hides" your IPS and hence the BBC or ITV server site does not know you are outside UK

      Works for me....

my firefox plug-in stopped working, so i'm back with VPN using uktvaccess.com - it's not such an expense in the end, but if there's a free way please post here, cheers

Hi rob have found a site that gives you access to bbc, itv, channel 4 and channel 5. If you go to www.iportal.me and register there you just follow the simple instructions and you,re good to go. It,s currently a free service too.
      Hope this helps
