    Happy Coming and Going

Hi I am staying in Italy for a while but am coming and going between the UK and Italy on a regular basis. Does anyone know how long I can stay in Italy without registering with an authority? I guess a stay of about 6 weeks in Italy followed by a week in the UK would be the situation. I want to remain a UK resident until I am sure of where I will end up! Any advice would be really helpful.
    Thanks

Not 100% Gemma but if it's like Oz & other countries it's 6 months.

    living in Italy

Hi Gemma, Is your message still current? Reason I ask is that I live a long distance away but am considering moving to Italy. Main thing that concerns me is the cost of living. I have been told by an Italian that prices are 30% cheaper in the South. Are you still regularly visiting there, and can you tell me anything which might be of help please? Many thanks, and happy new year, - Clepington
