Thread: Europe's Best Beaches

Great Britain and Spain have some amazing beaches with many blue having "blue flag" status. My favourites are:
Camber Sands (England)
Tarifa is another favourite of mine
and my local beaches the gold mile with the glitz, glamour and abundance of chiringhetos. San Pedro is nearest to me and has lots of things for the kids to play on.

Switzerland being landlocked probably doesn't have many beaches but I remember some amazing lakes there with "sort of" beaches that where equally stunning.
Must say that Switzerland is one of my favourite countries for breath taking scenery.

I'll vote for my local beach at Palm Cove. (Don't let the fact that crocodiles have been photographed lounging on top of the stinger nets put you off)

Well not to brag about it but have you checked how many blue flags has Greece ? I think something like 300....

I love the Greek Islands, together with its fishing villages and tavernas for me its paradise.

I guess you live in Green then Young Abroad?
