Thread: Initial thoughts

hi All

My wife and i have recently started talking about moving to Dubai and would like some advice on a few things.

firstly, how long and how difficult is it to get visas sorted out?

I work in the recruitment industry and i noticed a lot of positions available within this trade. Is it a matter of going then getting work or should i be able to secure work before leaving?

schools? we have a little girl and will need to look into child care and eventually schools. can you give me some ideas on prices and standards?

housing - what is the general price of rentals for a three bedroom place?

as the title says, we have only started looking into this so any advice would be great, as would any advice on websites to look at etc.
