Thread: Introduction

Hi,
I'm not actually living abroad or ever have for that matter. I am at the moment at the embryo stage of considering a move. The UAE seems as good a place as any to begin my research so here I am!!

My pro's and con's for the move are as follows

Pro's

I am single with no ties.
I could leave my job without a backward glance.

Con's

I am 36 (is this too old to even consider such a move??)
I have Ankylosing Spondilitis (This is a spinal condition which would prevent manual work such as construction etc, also prevents driving)
I am non professional and my only skills are those gained in an office environment.
(I'm sure there are more cons that I haven't thought of yet)

Basically, what I'm looking for here is a little advice as to where to begin my search, (reputable agencies) Types of work available, salary, accomodation, health care etc.

Any advice would be helpful as this is my first port of call.
