Thread: Moving to the USA with R1 Visa

This is my first post ... so please be gentle

My Wife and I are planning to move to Florida and we were hoping to use an R1 Visa for religious workers.

We are hoping to gain backing from a church we have spoken to..

My question is - Has anyone on this forum ever got in the USA using the VISA R1 for religious workers?

If so how hard / easy was it ?

I also wanted to know how easy it is to gain permanent residency is America once you are actually over there on a temp. Visa ????

Any help or advice you can offer would be very much appreciated....
