    Anyone into boating?

    Anyone into boating??

I'm looking for a bit of advice / tips and hints.

I've never had a marine boat so it's all new.

After many years deliberating we have finally decided to get out on the water.

Not sure yet whether or not to go for a tinnie or something a bit larger.
Be good to have something safe that can carry four safely or about the same fishing.

Certainly looking for something that I get launch myself from the boat ramp.

I've just got the "Road rules for the sea" booklet and will be going for my licence.

Any advice is appreciated - I really want to know my stuff before making a financial decision.

I've looked around a couple of boat yards and could not stop drooling!

Hi Tyke i have a 4.1 tinny with a 30 motor on the back ,it fits 4 people very well with room to fish , and it is also good for one person to get on and off the boat ramp . All in all a nice little boat. look on tradeing post ,theres loads on there.

    Cheers for that edd !

I'm quite interested in the Haines Hunter 470 Breeze.

It looks a good all rounder.

I have to make a compromise to Mrs Tyke.
So a Half cabin with a bit of home comforts and the right cosmetic look seems to be the way to go.
I will lose fishing room though:no:
The 470 Breeze seems a popular craft and easy to launch and retrieve.
