      Automatic or manual

Having just had a hire car, manual, and got my car back from the Menderes, auto, I love my automatic! Which do you prefer?

I don't think I have a preference. Over the years I have gone from auto to manual back to auto back to manual etc. It just depends on what's best for the car I want at the time. Although saying that manual cars are extremely rare in the US, probably because people wouldn't have a clue how to drive one!

I would probably agree with this for me too. Although I hate my current car (Ford Escape) as it's rubbish for pulling away, it just get's louder sounding as if it's about to have a heard attack!! But my BMW that I had back in the UK was quick and that was an auto too.
