Thread: Brits better than the French at chatting up women

French men may have a reputation for wooing the ladies, but a new study shows that it is actually Brits - with their terrible chat up lines - who are more successful at chatting up women.
British men are also surprisingly considered better at cooking than the French...although both nations were left in the shade by Italians.
Thirty-five per cent of British women thought that Italian men were the best at chatting up - they topped the leader board.
In comparison, 22 per cent thought British men were the best at chatting up, and 17 per cent favoured the French.

I cant see it somehow Kate....Britih men on the pull are notoriously uncouth. They dont know how to make a woman feel special...at least not the one I came across in my youth! Maybe things have changed since my dating days or maybe I went to all the wrong places!

And we're better in the sack!

I think you are getting confused with your new country of residence :) I have never heard British men being referred to as uncouth. You seem to be basing your huge generalisation on the ONE you came across in your youth. I most certainly know how to make a woman feel special.
