I watch it when I can, like any property show anywhere it is rose tint TV to a degree. Many of the areas they go to are just wonderful.
Soon to be back in the undisputed NUMBER 1 country in the world.....ENGLAND.
I think if you are the homesick type it should be avoided at all costs...I, as you know am not homesick in the slightest but watching ETTC has me longing for the green fields and cottages/pubs/atmosphere of the UK countryside and feeling quite sad that I wont get to holiday in these places any longer :(
I love the show but it looks idyllic as there are no cars parked in the villages or near the houses they visit. Now we know what its like in a village in the country on a Sunday wall to wall cars lol. In fact when we were over there we stayed away from pretty places on the weekend.

I suppose it's a little like Wanted Down Under for the Brits, they make Oz look like paradise when really it's only Cairns that is paradise
If all of the UK was how they show it then I could be tempted, but the weather would have to be 25 degrees all year round.
