Its interesting actually....what sort of things do you and your family like to do Aldo? For me I cant imagine being bored somewhere like Cairns...I like peace and quiet...deserted beaches...picnics in spectacular settings....exploring.....not so bothered with 'organised' events...I wonder if thats the difference? (and Im being serious here)

This is why I roll my eyes when someone says something like 'yeah come to Australia, you'll love it', I read it all the time and the problem is that no country is one size fits all. When we went to Florida back in the 90's we turned up at the airport, got a taxi to a car hire company, rented a car and headed off with no accommodation booked and the only thing actually booked were the Daytona races. We had a ball but there was no way in the world we could live there. Up until a couple of years ago I would come up to Cairns at least twice a year and absolutely loved it but again there was no way I could live there. I got in trouble for daring to say this before but as I have got older I have come to realise that I need something more cerebral, that is for ME personally or I should say for my wife as well. That doesn't mean that for others the beach and sun etc aren't important and can in fact be the most important thing in their lives, nothing wrong with that.

The only people you need in your life are the ones that prove they need you in theirs
