    Food delivered from the UK

Although I enjoy the cuisine here, there are many things I miss from home.

I have seen a few sites that offer to deliver food items from the UK.

Has anyone tried any of these? Can anyone recommend one?

    Thanks.

    Ralph

I did wonder about that...see thinking way ahead and realised they don't have baked beans like we do in the states.

Hiya Ralph i have heard both good and bad about these sorts of shops, the negative feedback being sometimes the use by date on stuff is very short.
In Brisbane we are pretty lucky as there are lots of UK food shops dotted about, they are quite expensive though so it is best to try and find equivalents as soon as and just visit the pommy shops for a special treat every now and again.

I have just had my first food order in Spain from British Corner Shop and I can thoroughly recommend them. Everything was well packed and was delivered to our local post office. Their rates are good, you can have up to 30 kilos in weight and it costs 14.99 british pounds. Normally I go over to England and bring a few bits back with me but obviously I got a lot more by doing it this way. Why not try tjem for yourselves ?

    Food items from the UK.

    Hi Ralph,

You don't say where you are. I am in Spain and had my first food order at Christmas from British Corner Shop and was well pleased with it. There was no problem with sell by dates and everything was well packed. Could not fault them at all. Based on my own experience I would certainly recommend them to anyone else. The food here is okay but we do like our English tea bags, the Spanish ones are terrible !! I also like to get bottles of squash from them as this doesn't exist in Spain.

    Good luck

The best place to get British food delivered is from expat emporium fantastic service and VERY fast delivery, I shopped around and they seemed to have the best service and best delivery rates around
