    Photography lessons

    Use this thread to post a nice pic you have taken recently and let the others critique it and give you tips on how you could improve. I know we have a few budding amateur photographers on here so off you go...

    I can't take credit, Pete took it! Its Hamelin Bay in South west WA by the way. I think its a nice pic, might get it printed and put it up.

    Rob has taken some really good ones with MY camera, I tend to use the I Phone now, will post some later.

    Nothing much wrong with that shot, you are bound to get the flaring on the left because of the shot being taken into the sun but overall it's great.

    I like the flaring though and go for this effect on a lot of my photos.

    Yes I agree it can be very effective and in that shot it works, it can overexpose the surrounding areas of the photo though.
