Request from BBC Radio 2 - apologies if you have seen this before!

      Hello everyone,

Apologies for the group posting - I work on the Jeremy Vine Show on BBC Radio 2, and we are looking for some contributors for a show we are doing in the (near) future.

The title of the discussion will "I'm sick of the UK, and moving abroad!".

We are looking for some people who have done just that and would be able to come onto the show.

If you are interested, then please get in touch.

My email is kieran.turner@bbc.co.uk or the office number is 0207 636 2273.

We are on air every weekday between 12 - 2pm (UK time)

      Many thanks,

      Kieran.

      Hi Finglas,

Can you let me know your situation, and I'll be in otuch.

Are you in England, thinking of moving abroad, or have you made the move?

      Thanks.

      Living Abroad

      Hello,
we own a house in Crete and moved there last June 2008. we are currently in England going back to Crete early May 2009.
We "sold up" in 2006, bought the house abroad but lived on a narrow boat in the meantime. We love it in Crete. We are sick of Britain because it seems the harder you work the more you are taxed etc. We feel very strongly over the MPs "fiddling" expenses and the Bankers bonuses, they all sem fire proof while the rest of us are taxed to the hilt and utility charges, car fuel etc rising in price all the time.
It just seems you are hammered at every level living in UK.
Sorry to go on bit that is why we moved, the hot sun in Crete was not our first priority in moving.
