Tattoos

Would you have or do you have a tattoo. There seems to be stigma attached to people who have them. A dear friend is having one tomorrow, they already have two and they are stunning, it's made me wonder if I should get a little one, just a tiny one on my chest or thigh. Am I too old?

Tasteful one's can look great.

It's a difficult one. As long as you are prepared to live it all your life. If it's a jokey one, will the joke last the time of a lifetime?

I would want to get one, but I know my mind changes too quickly and something I like one minute, I won't like the next minute.

Piercings are the way forward. In Cairns, go to the esplanade, walk up past maccy d's towards the big mall, 2 blocks (maybe one) up there is a sort of little mall-type thing (more like a "Walk") next to a subway, in their is a bloke who did my eyebrow and other place was telling me about acid-tatts. These are were you get acid poured on your skin in a design or whatever and it scars the skin - sort of like a negative tattoo. White on black rather than coloured ink on skin.

Didn't know you had been to Cairns (or maybe you did and forgot). Not sure about the acid thing it sounds too painful, I would just like a little Ulysses butterfly just a tiny one the size of a 5 cent coin.

I lived in Cairns for 3 months in 2006.

At the time, I was intrigued by the acid thing. I have grown up since then. I just like piercings, but not a gratuitous amount of metal.

I have been considering getting pierced again, but sort of limited to the sensible parts.

Butterfly sounds good.

I had my ears pierced years ago and never wear earings, I don't mind piercings although not sure on nose and tongue

Dont have one...dont want one. I like my skin as it is. Went through a phase of wanting one in my 20s but glad I stuck to temporary ones. I do like tasteful tats on men though...
