I am surprised to see Kia in the top 10, we had a carnival and the amount of **** we had for owning a kia was ridiculous anyone would have thought we were driving a Reliant Robin

Ha, just read the top ten least reliable, we now have an ancient Mazda which has been going since we arrived nearly 3 years ago and a Hyundia, no issues with either. Lets hope it stays that way

We have a Kia Carnival and a Hyundai Getz both bought new and neither have been any trouble at all. The only issue we had with the Kia was dealer related. The older model Carnival was a nightmare apparently with widespread engine issues but the newer ones are great and overall they have improved enormously since being bought by Hyundai.

Back in UK I had a fab Mazda Mx5 for about 7 years and NEVER did I have a problem with it. I understand the majority of Japanese cars are extremely reliable. I traded that car in for some personal reasons but the main one was the mileage I was doing to work - 150 miles per day and thought the engine might seize up on me. Didn't really relish that prospect on the M6. So traded my lovely Kayak (I always nickname my cars) for a beautiful BMW Z3 - same one that was in James Bond movie when they were initially introduced. What a sh** of a car that was!! That one did seize up on M6 and nearly gave me a heart attack when it did. I had sooooooooooo many issues with it, it was untrue, I came to the conclusion that it was either haunted or a poltergeist lived in there. However, it did look the dogs b******s. I love my fast, sporty cars and ended up acquiring the nickname of 'petrolhead'. Hopefully have something fairly reliable now. Up to now it's been OK.
