    I must admit to be a little embarrassed to admit I wasn't even really aware of Nunney Castle even though it is very close to where we used to live. A beautiful place and well worth a visit, we have even been looking at Nunney as a place to live, another hidden gem.
    Soon to be back in the undisputed NUMBER 1 country in the world.....ENGLAND.

    TBH i didn't actually know where it was and must have driven within a mile of it yesterday. Amazing what the country has hidden away just beyond the hedgerows

    Because I was on a sort of reccie this last trip to the UK I actually made a point of going off the beaten track and was amazed at the little villages and hamlets I came across totally by accident.

    Another reason I want to move back. There's very little that compares to it over here.
    I actually visited it a few times as a kid, and it's instantly recognisable. It'll still be there in another hundred years too.

    It will be there in another 1000 years, that is what is so impressive about these places. It is one of the major things we both miss.
