Yes I think for those who rate sun/sea and surf highly then this is the place.
Remoteness for us is a negative but of course for others it is a positive.
Larger housing is debatable, the houses we are looking at back in the UK are way bigger than our current place.
Rainforests, definitely. They are my favourite habitat.

your house must be very small, perhaps that is why you are having trouble selling, I have found nearly all the Oz places I have seen are far bigger than the english shoeboxes, with far more features also
