Am I Mad? Returning to England

The misses has recently got this thing in her head about returning to England. The thing is, after an initial "no way" i'm now thinking "why not". In fact i'm quite exited about it.
It probably won't be for a few months as we intend on moving into my apartment that i usually rent out to golfers so we can save a bit of money to give us a good start.
I still love Spain and maybe in a few years if things go well and to plan we will return.

I don't think you're mad at all, in fact I'm a little bit jealous! All I can say is good luck with the move, England is a great country! :)

I certainly dont think you are mad at all, as Purple says England is a great country and has a huge amount to offer. I long ago realised the weather is of little importance in the grand scheme of things and all that the country offers far outweighs any negatives. Good luck with it.

I'm jealous too mate. Jealous of you living a hop skip and a jump away from blighty in the first place, and jealous of you being in the position of being able to go back when you like. Good luck with it. Will you continue in the hairdressing and beauty line of work when you get there?

Yes, the good thing about living in Europe is being able to flit from one country to another. I will continue my hairdressing - its my life!

Not sure, just make sure you aren't having an off month first before making all the plans to return. I have known a few people who have headed back to the UK and then gone back. Could you not just try it for 6 months and if it's what you want sell up and go back. I know you have the kids but they are still young so schooling shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Good luck wither whatever you decide, you sounds like me where I get itchy feet after so long.

Work wise, i'm very busy and i feel really bad about letting my regular clients down and as where i live now is rented so no big upheaval and my mate has a nice rental house in the UK that I can move straight into. I'm not selling my apartment here so can come back at any time.

Do you have contacts there work wise? Don't worry about letting people down, you have to look after yourself and family first.
