It's a "lifestyle", or a culture here. It's strange to see though.

That is so funny about mullets, especially as whenever anyone mentions mullet I always think fish and want to ask Red or Grey?

But then I only saw tonight this link - a different type of mullet completely!!! http://uk.specials.lifestyle.yahoo.c...he-mullet-2526

Getting back to the original comment about returning to England, having just spent a week visiting old haunts in West Sussex saying goodbye - stately homes, castles, beautiful seaside georgian Brighton, yachts in Bosham, shopping and pub lunch in Chichester and stunning countryside - I can so understand how tempting coming back would be .

But don't expect an easy work life, the British work / life balance is fairly rubbish unless you can play the kids card!! But the drama on TV can be amazing and I will so miss that (maybe the wrong thread for that comment)

I guess it depends where you are going to as far as the work/life balance. I read recently that Aussies work longer hours than anyone in the Western nations ? Most people here work at least as many hours as they do anywhere else but like everything it depends what you do for a living. Is there anywhere that work/life balance isn't rubbish ?
