I've just read that thread and was totally enraged by the first response - not humourous in the slightest. If folks only have abrasive, negative comments to share then they should keep their bloody mouths shut. IF the OP was genuine I should imagine the poor girl was devastated.

I too have been attacked on another forum where the thread (which I had created) actually digressed and eventually comments being posted had absolutely nothing to do with the initial question I had asked. I ended up getting into a right battle with others on there. Quite upsetting really. So needless to say I cancelled my membership off there. Just no need for any of it

The problem with forums is peeps have too much bravado - yes, very big to hide behind a pc screen where nobody knows you.
