Excessive drinking costs each and every American about $2 per drink, according to new research results from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That's beyond the cost of the drinks themselves. Some contributing factors include a loss of work efficiency, medical bills, damage to property and the cost of jailing those who travel drunk. The truth is Binge drinking costs each of us $2 per drink .

All I can say I wish there were more drunk girls around when I was 18

There was a story on 60 Minutes last night about the increase in binge drinking among girls especially. They followed a few friends who would literally go out to see just how drunk they could get, they would drink until the started throwing up and then start again. Not only were they making complete fools of themselves most of these young girls really should have had a friend tell them they couldn't wear very short skirts
Seriously though it is a terrible thing to see young girls totally out of control.

Its a real problem...but also part of the rite of passage to mature 'Adult' drinking (only 1 bottle of wine a night)
