WITH the Capital the proud host of the Pride Scotia march on Saturday, it is perhaps no surprise to discover that Edinburgh is the gay capital of Scotland.
According to a recent survey of internet dating habits, Glaswegians are looking for Thai brides, Aberdonians just want a one-night stand and those looking for love online in Edinburgh tend to search for same-sex partners.

Experian Hitwise, which came up with the figures, said: "Each city has its own little niche which its citizens prefer. Edinburgh is the gay capital of Scotland, with more visits going to gay dating websites than in any other Scottish city."

Funny lot the jocks.

Isn't this the case in most places though Aldo. For instance San Francisco, New York and LA are allegedly the gay/lesbian capitals in the States (although I may be misinformed so don't quote me). Mykonos in the Greek islands. Amsterdam, Sydney, Manchester, Cologne, Athens, Montreal, Cape Town.

Must be almost similar to expat communities.

I for one would be devastated Ktee. Ugh shudder to think. You're bound to be in a state of shock but I wonder after the initial shock whether you'd be able to deal with it and tell yourself you've grown to love that person as they are. So not sure if I'd be able to throw that all away. Purely hyperthetically speaking of course as there's nobody in my life to love

I thought exactly the same YB initial thoughts would be to run a mile but then you will still always love them especially if you have been together years. If it was a new relationship then i would be gone!

Diversing slightly from the partner subject, it beggars belief how anyone without a lucrative bank balance can afford such a lengthy operation and these ops show that the surgeons are first class - the outcome is phenomenal. Makes me sometimes wish I was a man and then be transformed into some Aphrodite
