    Dogs in Parks

Just been over the park with my boy and have a few things to whinge about.

    1. Why do people have to own dangerous dogs? And why do they have to take them to parks where kids play?
    2. There was a dad with his son who couldn't have been more than 10 yrs old, the dad was making him do exercises and laps around the park as if he was an adult. Shouldn't he be climbing trees and out with his mates at that age??
3, there was some other stuff but i forgot it

Any dog can be dangerous ,its depends on its upbringing, some of the fiercest looking dogs are push overs...whilst some of the little cute fluffy looking ones can be real 'nippers'. Like humans how it looks doesnt always protray its temperment.

Maybe his son his training for something,, my girl is doing a Triathlon in April so i go and count laps for her when she is running or swimming and this is on top of her 3 nights a week Gymnastics training. None of it is forced on here and i never MAKE her do any of it, i wait until she ask's.. i dont see an issue with that.

My issue with the dogs is that the owner should be able to control it, My dad was attacked by a Staff and it locked onto his calf and its owner (a lady of slight frame) just panicked and was screaming because my dad was punching the dog rather than her dog taking chunks out of him. It worries me that a lot of owners wouldn't have the psychical strength to restrain their dog if it attacked someone. Smaller dogs don't worry me as much, I know they can be just as aggressive but a swift boot would sort it out. I get where you are coming from about the owners but what about all the times you read about when the owners say things like "i can't understand it, he is usually such a docile dog" or "the child must have spooked it". IMO dogs are great (i've had a dogs and loved them) but there is a risk of them at any time resorting to their primal instincts, this is why I don't think they should be allowed in parks with kids.

Yes kids need to train if they want to do well at sport and a little motivation is good but... The bloke was screaming at him like one of those trainers at fat camp.
