Yes the rain is a bit of pain
Seriously though we aren't really able to plan too far ahead for outdoors stuff and when it rains it really rains here as you probably know.
I don't expect it to be any better when we are back in the UK but that isn't what we are going for.

We were there for 5 weeks last year in March/April and it never rained once apart from the odd time at night, it was fabulous hot sunny weather for 5 weeks and we had about a dozen barbies, yes 5 weeks in a row, thats right i said 5 weeks and my family and mates who live there say its fantastic weather for several months as well. We have had about 5 days of hot sunny barbecue weather this year in the uk, 5 days, yes thats right, i said 5 days, ok i'm lying it might have been 6 days. lol. i know what i prefer, you need to put it behind you and move on.
Australia. Voted the 2nd best country in the world to live in, i think it will be above France now, so its probably the best country.

To be honest I will miss some weather up here, I like the spring and autumn. The summer is just too uncomfortable if you need to do anything outside. Our kids stay inside most of the summer.
The hot weather attracts the snakes which is good.

I dont actually mind rain, it's what makes a country green and lush which is what I love. I suppose I can see the other side of the coin as well though but for me it would be like living out in the bush here, no thanks.
