We too have friends coming over at Christmas. They land in Brissy on the 24th of December. I'm guessing Christmas day is going to be a bit of a washout.
We are looking forward to them coming over and can't wait to show them around, but I must try and remember to give them space to explore for themselves. It's so tempting to say look at this, do that.
They are also going to look into the work situation as they (well he) is really fed up with England. He had a chance of moving here in the late 80's but never took it.
Anyone elsewhere in the world expecting anyone and how do you feel about them coming?

    Hey Tuckerfa

We have friends with us now, my youngest's best buddy from school in England with her mum + dad. They have hired a car which gives them some freedom to wander. They have no return flight as Zoom airlines went bust last Wed.

    Hi Cal

Our friends paid with debit card so no money back. If they had used a credit card then they would have got their money back. B A have offered half price flights but have nothing available as of yet and most carriers are fully booked. There are one or two with seats but you would need a second mortgage with prices like 1200 pounds each and its a family of 4.
