    I am so looking fwd to my parents being here for Christmas! My Mum reckons they will still be living with us then!! Its been three years since I have seen them! I cant wait!

    yes it does linger, i had to see doctor on monday regarding my repeat prescription, she was not happy with the fact i was still chesty so i am on a third lot of antibiotics, and i also never got a cold in uk. Speaking to someone today who was telling me her hubby was off work but now gone back but cannot shift the cough, which is the same here. Hope your throat comes to nothing as i think second time round is worse , and not good when weather is hot.

    hi there x pats. have to say ya all did the right thing, ya got ya butts outa the uk madhouse.we now have the lunatics running the asylum???way to go yeahhhh.
    weather here in the uk is sunny right now, but the usual stuff is on its way...rain and more rain with high winds. what i"d give to be having treatment for a sunburn.

    welcome to the site, by the way you don't want to be treated for sunburn it can turn out to be pretty nasty,
    I wish we had some xmas wrapping on sale here so i can get all my up presents sent by sea mail as it is so much cheaper.

    thanks guys, hope to get to know you all. nope...i aint planning to move anywhere these days. i did all my travelling in the merchant navy. 25 years to be exact. my prospective wife at the time of meeting up with her said...seaways, or she ways?she ways won the argument.
    i was born and bred in preston. moved to my present location..hindley(just ouside of wigan)3 years ago. i have two married daughters who i may add, spoil me rotten.the youngest is a martial artist and has three clubs of her own. yup, she"s that good..6 black belts and going strong.(i never disagree with her
