Angry Unhealthiest Burger in Australia - Hungry Jacks

THE burgers are fattest at Hungry Jack's with the fast food chain's Ultimate Double Whopper burger rating as the unhealthiest fast food option in Australia. Are you a fan of big burgers?
The consumer organisation Choice said with 80.5g of fat, 2.3g of sodium and 5085
kilojoules, the burger accounted for nearly 60 per cent of an adult’s recommended daily kilojoule intake.
That puts it at the top of the list for unhealthy fast food.
"Lets face it, not many of us go to a fast food outlet for a salad," Choice spokeswoman Ingrid Just said yesterday.
"When you add chips and a soft drink to something like the Ultimate Double Whopper, you’re consuming a day’s worth of kilojoules in one meal."
Of the outlets Choice surveyed, Hungry Jack’s also scored the dubious honour of the silver medal with the second-most unhealthy menu option being its Angry Angus (double) burger, which contains 52.1g of fat, 1.7g of sodium and 3276 kilojoules.
The research published by Choice in its magazine, also found when it comes to pizza, Domino’s and Pizza Hut are neck and neck with their high fat options.
Two slices of Domino’s Meatball and Rasher Bacon Edge pizza or Pizza Hut’s Deep Pan BBQ Meat Lovers pizza have more than 2000 kilojoules, or one quarter of an adult’s recommended daily intake.
Choice sampled menus from Hungry Jack’s, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Subway, Domino’s, KFC, Red Rooster and Oporto.
Hungry Jack’s said only a small percentage of customers were likely to choose larger meal options such as the Ultimate Double Whopper.
The outlet said a recent study found only 2.5 per cent of fast food customers chose healthier options.
Hungry Jack’s said it backed initiatives helping customers to make informed decisions about their food choices.

I love their angry onions. Prefer KFC or Rooster especially their fries. The stunner deals are good value at Jacks though, burger, chips, drink and sundae for $4.95

I love Ktee getting Angry when they forget her onions and she goes tearing back through the drive through demanding to know where they are

Hungry Jacks definitely make the tastiest burgers but I tend to avoid them all.

Our kids get McDonalds once every 2 weeks, they dont ever ask for them outside of that which is good. I cant wait to get to a village with no fast food.

Then move to where we are (or maybe not), one takeaway in the village. It's a very healthy takeaway as one taste and you won't be back there again in a hurry.
