Get out your paranoia response kits -- a kitten with two heads has been born in Western Australia.

Vet George Huber and his nurse Louisa Burgess delivered the grey and white double-face feline at the Swan Veterinary Clinic in Perth. The kitten was born along with two others who did not have any deformities.

Animal lovers need not worry -- the kitten is in a healthy condition. While it is fragile, and smaller than a human hand, it/they (?) eats normally through one mouth and can miaow through both at once.

"I have seen cats with two tails and extra legs, but not this," Burgess told the website inmycommunity.com.au, where the strange news was announced. "It has a full tummy and it survived the night so that is a good sign... it seems content, it meows and purrs."

About one in a million cats are born with two faces, according to The Times.

The kitten's owners plan to keep the unusual feline, and say they are planning on calling it either Mr Men or Quasi Modo.

Sadly the kitten has now died. RIP little kitty

    Chicken surprise supper
A Chinese man cracked open an egg to make his supper - and found a four-legged chick inside.

Mr Cao, of Changchun, said he bought dozens of eggs four months ago, and cracked one to make a meal.
He says he was shocked to find a chick alive inside it - and even more surprised when he noticed the extra legs.
"People said it wouldn't survive, but I kept it out of pity and it magically grew up healthy," he told the People's Daily.
"Maybe it's the summer temperature that enabled it to hatch."
Cao says the chicken was bullied by his other chickens at first: "It was very tame and seldom fought back," he says.
But it grew faster than its rivals and has now turned the tables: "Other chickens now act very timid around it, and the neighbours are calling it the four-legged king," Cao added.
Professor Gao Wei, at the Life Sciences Department at the Northeastern Normal University, said it was very rare for such a chicken to survive and grow up healthy.

TALK ABOUT CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT!

Cleveland, Ohio, Judge John Nicholson gave defendant Allen Law an unusual choice when sentencing him for driving through Cambridge with his windows rolled down and his truck's stereo blaring. He could either pay a fine of $100, or go sit four hours in a police interview room and listen to the recorded music of Cleveland's polka legend, Frankie Yankovic. Mr. Law hesitantly agreed to hear such favorites as Who Stole the Kishka, Blue Skirt Waltz and, everybody's favorite, the Too Fat Polka. Judge Nicholson said he hoped to teach Law what it's like to be forced to listen to music he didn't like.

WOULD YOU SENTENCE THIS "MOTHER" TO DEATH?

News services reported from Dayton, Ohio, August 29, 2008, a court there had found China Arnold, a mother, guilty in the death of her one-month-old daughter, Paris Tally. Testimony proved Ms. Arnold, 28, first fought with her boyfriend, before placing her infant daughter in a microwave oven, then cooking her to death.

    A REVERSE OF THE USUAL
The Action Mobility store in Lake Worth, Florida, was sued by a crippled woman because they had no designated handicapped parking spaces. The handicapped couple who owned Action Mobility explained to the judge all their business did was sell and service wheelchairs, so virtually all their customers were handicapped. (Perhaps a couple of "non-handicapped parking" signs?)

HE SHOULD STOP DATING UNTIL HE SOLVES SOME ANGER ISSUES

Early morning, March 25, 1990, Julio Gonzalez saw his ex-girlfriend, Lydia Feliciano, having a hot time with other men at the Bronx's Happy Land Social Club. This caused him, at about 3:30 AM, to purchase gasoline, pour it around the two-story building, then strike a match, burning 87 people to death.

THE UP-SIDE OF WAITING ON ELEVATORS

Ever wonder why most all elevator waiting areas, be they in hotel lobbies, department stores or office buildings, generally have mirrors on their walls? That's to keep waiting riders from becoming bored, by passing time looking at their own images. (And, before Elisha Graves Otis invented a safe elevator in 1853, so many deadly falls occurred, mirrors were installed inside elevators to take passengers' minds off the danger.)

French say they need biggest condoms

The French say they need the largest condoms in Europe while Greeks get by on smaller ones, according to a Europe-wide study by a German consultancy that provides advice on condoms.

Jan Vinzenz Krause of the Institute for Condom Consultancy looks at a prototype of a …More Enlarge photo

The study by the Singen-based Institute of Condom Consultancy was done by asking 10,500 men in 25 countries to measure their penis and enter the number into a database.
The results show Frenchmen on average claim to need 15.48-cm (6.09-inch) long condoms, about 3 cm longer than Greeks, whose condom-size requirement was the most modest.
Jan Vinzenz Krause, the institute's director, told Reuters Friday the data was collected over a period of eight months.
He did not want to comment on how honest he thought the Frenchmen had been in reporting the data.

What will they do a survey on next....:realmad:

CREATED A MARKET FOR HOT BUTTERED POPCORN

In 1872, Stanford University offered world famous landscape photographer Eadweard Muybridge (1830-1904)$25,000 to prove all 4-hooves of a running horse could be off the ground at the same time. He proved it by taking 12 different photos, with 12 different cameras, flashing them in sequence. This gave Thomas Edison an idea, and by 1889 he'd created the first motion picture.

DURING SPEECHES HE WAS "WINDY" IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE

Adolph Hitler (1889-1945), supreme leader of Germany (1933-1945) ordered the deaths of millions of people, and changed history. One internal problem, however, Fuhrer Hitler could not control. And this problem was so far out of control, the most hated man of the twentieth century drank motor oil. And, what was his problem? Flatulence. This man who had the power to kill millions could not stop himself from "breaking wind" (i.e. cutting-the-cheese, farting) in public, often leaving those he met to snicker behind his back.

DIDN'T ALL THOSE WEAPONS MAKE THEIR UNIFORMS FIT FUNNY?

During a soccer match in the small mining town of Hartbeesfontein, about hundred miles outside Johannesburg, South Africa, referee Lebogang Petrus Mokgethi used his 9 mm pistol to shoot to death player Isaac Mkhwetha, while fans looked on. The official claimed self defense, saying Mkhwetha had pulled a knife on him first. But, no big deal, according to Wallabies manager Isaac Mahlapsi: "It’s easy for players and referees to get hurt during games in this area."

    "BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED"

ABC's Paul Harvey News reported in October of 2005, E-bay had dropped all offerings on its site from a Chinese supplier because of the sensitivity of its products, namely human babies under the age of 100 days old. For those wannabe parents who could afford one, male Chinese infants were available for only $3,500. And, for the more budget minded, an infant Chinese girl was obtainable for only $1,600.
    WHAT A SHOCKING STORY

Living 60 miles outside Bangkok in Angthong, Thailand, Yooket Paen, 57, was crossing her cow lot when she accidentally slipped in muddy dung. This caused her to reach out and grab a naked electrical wire, which electrocuted her. The Thai Daily News then reported an even more unusual event. Soon after Paen's funeral, her sister, Yooket Pan, 52, was showing her neighbors how her sister had died, when she slipped herself, reached for the wire, and died instantly, also.

    "MY SKY OR YOURS?"

The common swift ( family, Apodidae) is highly mobile, seldom landing its feet on any horizontal surface. Not only can these airborne (of the hummingbird family) eat and sleep without landing, they can even have sex in the air.

300 flying foxes are rescued in storms

The future of a colony of fruit bats has been put at risk after hundreds of pups were abandoned by their mothers in heavy storms.

More than 300 infant grey-headed flying foxes are being cared for at a bat hospital since they were left to fend for themselves in the last week.
Most are suffering from hypothermia and deydration, and many have been attacked by swarms of flies.
