what is your favourite Film and TV programme?

I have soooo many but think my favourite Film is Hot Fuzz and favourite TV has to be Gavin & Stacey!!!!!! Both thoroughly British!!!!!!

It's just the thought of that amount of swearing and vindictiveness coming out of the mouth of a little old lady that really makes me laugh. ;)
I guess that's what it is for most people, right?

I have many films I love, but if pushed..(!) faves would be Amelie, Out of Africa and... Avatar!

TV progs; QI, Come Dine With Me (you ex-pats should look out for it online.. the voice over guy is a hoot!)

Too many for me to mention too, I see one and then a week later something else comes out and I'm thinking it's better.
Choices among my top 10?
Shutter Island, One flew over the cookoo's nest, (old but good) Sublime, Midnight Express (another oldie), The Edge (Anthony Hopkins) and Slumdog Millionaire. Of course there are loads more, but these are memorable as the ones that struck me as entertaining.

TV? Hard to beat some of the English stuff like "wire in the blood" or "waking the dead" isn't it? Yeah ok, so I like dark stuff. ;)
