    What's your poison?

I've always been a lager drinker, kronenburg being my every day pint with stella and lowenbrau making the odd appearance but recently i've been getting into a beer called "old golden hen" Does this mean i'm old? will a pipe and slippers be next?
What about the ladies? do they really have to drink out of pint glasses? isn't it a but chavvy? should they just sit in the corner with a babysham?

    I'm so confused..

I rarely deviate from my regular tipple, chardonnay unless its for a sparkling white.....at Christmas its Baileys and Rum....on a hot afternoon I like a bottled beer or lager...Stella and Kronenbourg were always my faves in the UK not quite the same here though, I also like a full flavoured real ale, expensive here...

I have drunk pints when I was younger but I think it was just to prove I could, I prefer a more ladylike half these days...a pint is too much.

I was also partial to the od bottle of cava when in spain but i recently got a couple of bottles from my local offie and they where awful, even with cranberry juice to take the edge off a bit. Aint it funny how a bad experience puts you off of some thing? I remember not touching cider for years after an unpleasant experiance that left me projectile vomiting through my nose and mouth left me with ripped tonsils - same with puff, a heavily loaded "cake" once made be go to church to beg the lord for forgiveness???

I can hear your muttering now... suggesting something similar happened with australia... well maybe you're right.

Hate beer and lager, always was a shorts drinker but then only Gin and Malibu. Hate most wines but like the cheap rubbish at a few dollars a bottle. I like moscato though but not suppose to drink.
