Thread: Where do all you Brits Abroad come from?

For you Brits out there, where did you come from, grow up, live?

As it's my topic :yes: I'll start the ball rolling.

Born and grew up in East London, moved out to Essex when I met my OH and lived there for about 18 years, moved to Norfolk for 5 years (loved it there) before emigrating to Singapore, and now in Thailand.

How about you?

Easy one for me. Born and grew up in Derby right up until last May when we left for Kuala Lumpur for 3 months and now in Vung Tau, Vietnam

Born in West Sussex and still live here.

Have an apartment in Turkey in Alanya.

Born in Yorkshire moved to N.Ireland in my 20s then California for a couple of years,
and then Australia for a few years and now finally i have found my true home in Alaska.

I was born and bred in Bolton Lancashire and moved to Bury, Gtr Manchester at 17yrs old when me and (now)hubby bought out first home together.We have been in Brisbane nearly 3 yrs and are loving our new lives.

Moved back to Scotland
Spend 3 years down in Englandshire (Bristol)
Back to Scotland for a few years...

Then to Perth Australia... Now this is where I call home...
