Thread: HELP! - I need to go abroad

Hello

I currently live in the UK and am so bored and frustrated. I want to go and work in USA, but I'm not classed as a skilled worker, I've just got admin and Customer Service experience, which I think will make it difficult to find an employer to sponsor me. I am also almost 30yrs old. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi,

If you Google 'USA visas' you can usually find the relevant sites that give you all the info - just stick with the US government sites if you want the info without the selling tactics.

I would steer clear of sites offering to find sponsors for H1b visas (like h1Base) unless you personally know of someone who's had success with them, unless you've got enough money to gamble with!

I understand your qualifications and experience may be an issue but your age isn't so don't give up yet!
