Good on you Frank, yes work hard and it pays off and a pat on the back makes you feel so good, to know that it's appreciated says it all really.

    Glad you love it there

    Conratulations to you Frank
Its nice to read something like this. Where someone makes a big life changing move and secures a decent job that they really enjoy. Its shows to everyone the good positive sides to moving abroad and the happiness it can bring.

I have been in the job almost 3 months now and I absolutely love it. It's the best job I have ever had. I look forward to going to work, I go in on my days off to see people and chat. Best of all though is, a few weeks ago the complex manager (in over all charge of the 170 that work there) said he has been impressed with what he has seen of my work and all the reports he is getting off everyone in the place. He asked me if I wanted to go on to the future leaders course!! Business diploma and management! I said that I'm still on my 3 month trial period to see if I'm suitable for the job I'm doing. He said I can forget about that unless I really f*^^ it up in the next few weeks.
All I do is turn up for work, work to the very best of my ability every day and, I impressed them. I've always had the same work ethic, but here they actually pat you on the back and appreciate the hard work you put in.
Well chuffed and couldn't be happier.:spinny:

    Hey Frank

Thats great news and as you say there are no pats on the back or gold clocks in the UK any more unless your the CO of a financial institution on gardening leave with a couple of million pay off for getting it wrong.
Good luck with the business diploma.
I am doing some contract work out here which is putting food on the table and paying the bills. Have had a few interviews including a second interview for a job I really wanted but there was 23 of us for it. A job with my name written all over it will come along soon I'm sure of that.
    Cheers for now

    Andy + Team Canada
