Thread: Looking for work abroad for married couple

Hi there, we are very interested in moving abroad but are not quite sure where to look for jobs. I am British and my Husband is South African. We both have 12 years experiance in Hospitality Management, he is also a Podiatrist and I have lots of experience with Horses. We are interested in Southern Africa, America, Canada etc. Is there any advice for us??

I guess the first step if for you to see if you'd qualify for a visa to live and work in the countries you're interested in.

I'm guessing if your husband is South African, then South Africa may be the easiest country to obtain a visa for?

May be worthwhile having a word with registred migration agents who deal with the countries you're interested in to see if you'd qualify for visas and the likely waiting time etc. any agents will offer an initial consultation free of charge.
