    Estapona,Spain

    Hi all,
the wife has booked a weeks holiday in Estepona,Spain in three weeks time.
We have been to Spain loads of times but always driven through estapona en route to elsewhere...Marbella...PB, Gib, Algeciras.
Does anyone have any little gems of local info to spare please?

You seem to spend half your time flying to warm climates T, about time you moved to one, or at least bought a place somewhere warm to spend the winters in ;)
Plenty come to Florida for the winter you know!

All you need is a little bit of money to afford it T, and in some places you'd go you'd find that it's not that much.
A B-2 Visa would allow you to winter for up to 180 days in the US, and houses are so cheap right now, and with the pound vs dollar rate as it is, you might be able to buy one outright - better still you could rent it to your friends for their holidays in the summer. ;) All you have to do is how you have ties to the UK and not overstay it, and you'd be fine. I know a few Brits here that come from November - March every year on a B-2. Of course you can't work on that visa, but if you're retired that doesn't make a difference.
Some places in the Med are affordable too, portugal has nice winters.
    ;-)
