Geo Thermal is the way forward my friend. My mate has just finished a job on a large supermarket that is 100% self reliant. It has rods driven 150' into the ground and the heat from underground is enough to boil water. It powers the lights, coolers, heating,,,,
I'm doing some research on it for a possible business venture in the future.
The cost of installing this into a new build house (3/5 bedrooms) is approx £26,000 which is not much to factor in to the cost of a new build.
