    and the 2011 county championship winners are Lancashire woo hoo

    Cricket's coming home, as Lancashire are crowned county champions 2011. Fantastic result for the Red Rose side and commiserations to out White Rose neighbours over the border who will unfortunately be playing in Division 2 next year.

    It's been a long wait, with 1934 being the last time Lancashire were crowned outright champions. Just a pity couldn't get any TV coverage of yesterdays finale.
