Living in Dubai, Springs area and been here just over a year. Prior to Dubai was living in Egypt.

Welcome to Brits Abroad. So what is it like living in Dubai? Is it more a place you would go for a holiday, is there a large expat community.
Egypt is beautiful I have a dear friend who moved to Australia from Egypt, he was a professional footie player for the Egyptian team.

Cheers Ktee. Dubai is a lovely place and yes you'd come for a holiday but I think you'd only do the track once really. Once you've been then.......... However, it is an extremely lonely place I've found and doesn't really cater for single people. Apart from that it's fab to wake up to sunshine every single day of the year :-).

Btw Ktee are there any emoticons to use and if so where do I find them. Yep blonde moment again!!

Emoticons can be found if you click on the Go Advanced option, I keep asking Rob if we can have them on the quick reply but he hasn't got back to me lol
